Are there any DNN help files that are searchable like a .CHM file????

we provide an API chm file with each release - http://dotnetnuke.codeplex.com/releases/view/52702 . If you're looking for downloadable manuals then http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Manuals/tabid/1667/Default.aspx has both user and superuser manuals.

I did a download of the CHM file three times to two different machines.   Both machines open CHM files frequently with no problem..

The file I downloaded was shown as 5.51 Core API Help File and named DotNetNuke551.chm and is 26,890 KB.

However the DNN CHM file shows an error on the right pane of every topic.

It says Navigation to the webpage was canceled

When the HTML was compiled the DNN CHM files might be  missing most  of the HTML content.

Is that the right file to be trying??  Is there another file I need to download?

Thanks
Joel in Houston

when you download a chm file off the internet, windows automatically applies zone security to it. To remove this, right click it, select properties and click the "unblock" button - the file will now work as expected.
