I second this question. This is far too complex to attempt flying blind. Has anyone done anything approximating a "Getting Started" doc?

I third this request. There are a lot of "store" modules and it's not very clear which should be put where and under which roles, etc. Are there no tutorials about how to use the DNN store? Or should we look to a 3rd party, like Catalook?

For a production environment, you'll need to use a 3rd party store.  The DNN Store has too many major bugs right now imo.  It's close, for sure... but if you want to get it usable you're going to need to dig into the code and put some fixes in.

For example, currently there is no way to tell what a customer ordered or even pull up their order.

What atarvin said is correct, you can't use store out of the box, however there are some simple code fixes you can do that will get the module functional (like allowing you to view the order for example).

Myself and others have posted several "quick start" guides for many aspects of the store (such as source code setup, what modules to place where, etc).   A minimal search on the forums should pick these up, but here are your starters for 10...
