I have installed the Store Account mdule and when I tried to check out, I got an error,

A critical error has occurred.
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Any idea what I did wrong?

Thanks,

Stephen

I have this exact same error...

A critical error has occurred.
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

after clicking "Checkout" when i have 1 item in my shopping cart on a newly created basic user.

I'm using MS-SQL2005 and IIS on Win XP media center ed.

everything else about the installation and setup has gone very smooth, except for some refresh issues on adding new catalog items and stuff that is already mentioned in this forum elsewhere.

Thats a pretty broad error, but the best thing to try is ensuring that all the properties of your store have been set (so all field in the store admin have a value), this goes for all categories, products, payment gateway, etc.

If that doesn't work, then check that all the modules are installed correctly (ie all the .ascx files exist on the server).

If that still fails, then you may need to get the source code and try to debug it.
