I am using dotnetnuke 4.3.3 .  I was hoping someone would be kind enough on how to share with me how to display an swf that I have made.  I would like to display this as  the top of my pages.

Thanks

Tom

This is what I did for my websites. I made one pane in my skin where I decided I was going to have the flash file. I applied the skin, and on the home page generated the code from http://www.kirupa.com/developer/flash8/flash_fix.htm (even takes care of the "click to activate") and pasted it into a text/html module (html part). Then you can go to the module settings and apply module to all pages if you'd like. As for the kirupa site that generates the code for you, you will need to download the javascript file and put it in the same folder as your flash file (I put both of mine under /Portals/0). Then on kirupa's website you just need to put the path to your flash file (/Portals/0), and the dimensions and it will generate the code for you. Good luck!

I've also got something that may be of help to you.

I have updated my free flash skins to have the Flash fix in it as well - you can see how it works HERE.
When logged in, you can download it HERE

And the information regarding the flash fix and how I managed to get it to work is HERE

It's important to read a couple of things on what's required, so you can have a successful installation, particularly with the JS file that needs to be uploaded.

Hope this helps.

Hi Nina,

I managed to display a flash banner on the website but for some reason unlike a regular jpeg banner, it doesn't count the clicks on the flash banner. Also, if I don't embed the URL in the flash movie itself, then the click doesn't work.

My main concern is how do I count the clicks.

Thanks ,
