I was running a DNN Community 07.00.00 that was hacked last month with code that autocreates authorized user accounts by the thousands. I'm assuming the commercial benefit is to autogen blogs with cross-linked content for link building. i believe i disabled account registration because my site's don't need or use it, but somehow, this version was hacked. I've written SQL Scripts to clean up the auto-gen'd accounts, but everytime i turn on the IIS interface, an account is auto-gen'd every 20 to 30 secs. I tried upgrading to 07.03.02, however, once the upgrade was completed, the accounts started showing up again. Does anyone know how to remove this hack or compromise without having to recreate the sites from scratch? I'm looking at NetMon to see if i can identify an external IP address that correlates with the account generation, but it could also be coming from embedded malicious code somewhere in the site or the database.
