Hello everyone,

I inherited a website running DNN version 05.05.01 (22). I would like to re-skin it using this version but with Bootstrap 3.

I am familiar with Bootstrap but not DNN (any version). Here are some questions I have:

*What are some steps I should take / things I should consider when trying to make a DNN skin responsive with Bootstrap?

*Should I upgrade the version to DNN 7 before I begin skinning? What are the skinning benefits?

*Where can I go to learn more about skin handling/packaging and installing?

*Do I have to be familiar with ASP.NET to make this happen?

Any thing else you think I should consider would be greatly appreciated.
