i created a new Membership Provider in another seperate project not in the dnn framework , actually it inherits from AspNetMemberShip Provider and i added my logic there , i tried to modyfy the web.config so i can be using my new membership but it doesnot work.

Just note that the new memberhsip inheriting from the exisiting membership is in a seperate project placed under Desktop Modules
