I have upgraded a site to 7.1.1 and I just want some clarity on what happens with the new Advanced Url provider.
There are two areas that I need to confirm / clarify:

1. The previous page links ended in aspx and now that is removed but there are still links to the old page with extension on other sites. Does 7.1 handle the difference as a redirect?

2. I am taking over an existing site that was not DNN and am migrating it into my 7.1 instance on DNN. The old site had links that ended with extension less strings, but I want to point that content to a different page on the new site. For example, the site i took over had a page www.example.com/service/wash55678 and I want to point it to www.example.com/services/washing

Can I just add a page link that points to the new page? How do I ensure that the redirect tells the browser/search bots that this is a permanent move to a new location?
