I'm trying to migrate from Windows 2003 to Windows 2012. I copy the site and added it to IIS on Windows 2012 and it seems to run. The biggest issue I see is it's VERY slow on the 2012 server vs. the 2003 server. No change in location of SQL database.

Why is it slow? Ideas?

Also, I changed the App Pool to run as .NET 4.x and also switched from classic to Integrated and each change didn't help the performance.

The other issue is when I extract a 7.x 'upgrade' package into the folder and load the website...I get the upgrade screen asking for a host logon, I enter creds, then click Upgrade...I get to the next screen showing progress and the timer counts up and the progress sits at 0% with no activity on the web server...just hangs there.

Thoughts?
