Looking at building a properly secured portal application that will contain sensitive information.

Wondering if anyone has any experience with encrypting the SQL database DNN runs on or with Transparent Data Encryption? I've done some searches for this and rarely see the question even asked. However in the modern development world cyber security is becoming table stakes. I feel that for DNN to be used for "marketing" sites it will need to start providing the ability to protect client and system data.

Any advice or pointers would be greatly appreciated.
