Hello Community,

I've duplicated a DNN installation with a different directory & database with different names.

Did this because im having issues upgrading the smith-cart module and as my site is live I dont want to display ugly error messages on the live site.

My problem is the duplicate instance when lanched through the assigned IP (different than original site) redirects to the domain name and therefore pulls up the original site instead of the duplicate.

I went into SQL management studio and deleted all portal aliases and changed the primary to be the IP address for the duplicate site.

Still it takes me over to the domain site.

Any ideas why?
