Hello,

I am a newbie to DotNetNuke, so I apologize for not understanding how to do this better.  I have set up a new website and migrated my content to it and getting ready to "go live".  I would like to assign it a  DNS resolution instead of navigating to the site via IP address, but every time I try to set up a new host alias and navigate to the site, I get a 403 forbidden: access is denied error unless I use "/dotnetnuke" (this applies for the IP address too really).  I have read this may have something to do with the portal being created as a child vs parent, but I am not certain where to find it in my version of DNN or if this is a different problem entirely.

If someone had any insight into this and could help me out I would greatly appreciate it.
