Hi,

I found a very close topic to my question Here but it was about 3 years ago, and I think there must be a pretty much easier way to do this.

So all I need to achieve is to fire the Send Message Pop-up when I click on a normal Link or Button on a specific page on my DNN site.

I tried to "Extract" the send module only from the Activity Feed page but no luck on getting it to work or even load properly "Just shows the loader.gif". Although I've included all related scripts/styles for it.

Can you please help or at least make it easier to understand how the Messaging System in DNN8 works? Please let me know which Controls, Markups and Scripts I should include to my page that's related to the messaging system to get this single link to open the Compose Message modal.
