Question:

MAIN BLOG

Initially, I created a couple of “Media Releases” blogs but then deleted them. I then created a “News and Public Notices” blog that now contains 14 posts. On the main blog, when I click on the “Manage” button and then on the “Blogs” tab, there is only one “News and Public Notices” blog. Fourteen posts have been made on this page.

SUMMARY BLOG ON HOME PAGE

I next added a "summary" blog to the home page and selected the latestPosts template. When I click on Edit-->Manage Blogs, I see one blog: News and Public Notices. The 14 posts appear under the Posts tab. All appears to be well.

QUESTIONS

1. My main problem is with the summary blog. While the posts display as hyperlinks, clicking on any one of them produces a Server Error 404 – File or directory not found. Can anyone tell me how I might resolve this?

2. How can I display only the titles on the summary blog (i.e. remove the date and blogger name)? I attempted to look at the CSS files but did not see any tokens that I could simply delete.

3. How can I prevent the display of categories for each blog on the main blog module? (This is similar to the previous question.)

4. When I click on Settings and then the Blog Settings tab, the dropdown list for “Parent Blog Module” includes the two deleted blogs. How do I remove those blogs from the dropdown list?

I appreciate any help that anyone could give me.
