Search Results from News Module have no URL returned

When I run a search on our site I get back results that are News articles but there is no URL passed back as part of the json object. This is causing the link to have an empty href and results in a link that simply reloads the search. If I look at the article properties when logged in, I see a URL populated for it. Is there a setting I'm missing in our News configuration that will cause this url to be passed to the json properly via the search service?

Brian,Thanks for your question. I'd like to ask a few clarifying questions so that the community can best assist. When referring to search are you referring to the main DNN Search or a search within a custom module? Also, regarding news articles, is there a specific module that you are using for that? The reason I'm asking is because the issue could reside in search or within the custom module. Thanks for the added info.
