We have a permissions grid at lots of places in DNN, tab permissions being one of them. My questions are on all grids.
By default if three roles come up in the grid
Administrators, All Users & Registered Users
1. What does the lock icon in front of the Administrators mean??
2. Which users will see this lock icon??
3. Does this lock has anything to do with inherited permissions?? Does it mean that the permissions are inherited from parent and to change them i have to set them at parent level??
3. The checkboxes are tristate - checked, unchecked and a third-state. What is this third state. I tried configuring a permission with this third state, but it worked as if it was unchecked. What should i conclude??
