I have upgraded my working test environment from version 8.4.2 to 9.2 of Evoq Basic.
After the upgrade, I receive the error message "The underlying system threw an exception. The file has not been added." when I attempt to upload any kind of file through the Content > Assets menu of the Persona Bar.
If I instead use the path Manage > Site Assets (still with Persona Bar) the File Manager appears, but when I try to upload any file I receive the same error.
However, the file is actually uploaded to the folder. I can see it via Windows Explorer, but I can't get to it through DNN. I have already synched many times and have cleared cache and restarted the app with the superuser account. I can't even see the delivered DNN files that exist on the root. Only folders. There is no error message created in the log that I can see.
I can create new folders using either method without error.
To test further, I installed a new clean version of 9.2 on the same server. Through that I am able to upload files through the Content > Assets option.
I also verified that the account running the application pool in IIS has the proper access to the root folder.
Could something from my old 8.4.2 version be interfering with the file upload process? I don't have the option of sticking with a clean install, I must upgrade my existing sites from 8.4.2.
Am I missing some permission or have the wrong version of a dll?
Thanks!
