Hello DNN,
My goal is to upgrade from 6.2.9 to 7.x, but I've been very unsuccessful.
I attempted two upgrades from 6.2.9 to 7.1.1, and then from 6.2.9 to 7.1.2. Both times, DNN told me the upgrades were successful, but when I clicked "click here to view your site", it sent me back to the upgrade wizard (the place where it asks for your username and password before it begins the upgrade process). Stranger than this, when the upgrades were in process, there were no "success" or "failure" prompts after each action took place (See the image link below to understand what I mean). I had the same problem when upgrading from 5.5.1 to 5.6.8, and from 5.5.1 to 6.1.5. Fortunately, the upgrade worked from 5.5.1 to 6.2.9.

Then tried to upgrade from 6.2.9 to 7.3.3, and then from 6.2.9 to 7.3.4. Both times, DNN returned the following message
================================================
Server Error in '/’
Application.Runtime Error.
Description: An exception occurred while processing your request. Additionally, another exception occurred while executing the custom error page for the first exception. The request has been terminated.

It’s worth mentioning that, after each failure, I did not need to restore the database, only the site files; however, I imagine that I’ll need to restore the database if I need to revert back to 5.5.1 from 6.2.9.
Please help, and thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide.
My DNN Environment:
*IIS 7
*.NET Framework 4.0
* SQL Server 2012 Enterprise edition (I believe)
* Windows 2008R2 (I believe)
