This week, I spent two days at
Marketo Summit 2015. So much great content! Over 100 sessions to choose from: marketing technologies, metrics, how to accelerate pipeline growth, predictive lead scoring, lead nurturing, and content marketing.
Marketo Summit in 140 Characters or Less
Marketo Summit, where we learn about the newest technologies. It didn't disappoint! (tweet this).
My Biggest Takeaway from Summit
Arianna Huffington, President and Editor-in-Chief of
The Huffington Post, delivered the most inspirational soundbites during the Tuesday keynote address. Success means getting enough sleep, which allows creativity to flow. Trust is the new black (quoting local SF innovator and internet star Craig Newmark).
And the best way to attract and delight your customers? Use anything
wellness as a theme in your campaigns. Channels are dead; rather, marketing is now all about building relationships. And listening.
Exhibitor I Found Most Interesting

My pick for most interesting exhibitor?
Uberflip, a content marketing automation aggregator. Their Hub product conveniently presents your content assets in a gallery-style user interface, complete with metrics and tracking.
A Conference Learning I Plan to Implement
I enjoyed attending a session titled “Cranking Up the Webinar Machine: How to Run 85 Webinars a Year Without Losing Your Mind!” It was presented by
Alexandre Pelletier and Louis Adam.
Musings on Marketo Summit from DNN Marketers
By Eleonor Klein
Given that I manage
DNN’s webinar program, here are some things I’ll implement now that I’m back in the office: get the recording and follow-up email out within 3 hours of the webinar, and invite our well-recognized speakers to deliver a video whiteboard session instead of just broadcasting slides.
They Were There: Customers and Partners
Pictured: I was interviewed for a video case study by BrightTALK, whom we use for webinars.
Some of the best relationship-building was with DNN’s customer
DoubleDutch, provider of the mobile conference app allowing all kinds of ways to stay connected throughout the event, and with our marketing partner BlueBird Strategies who hosted a client appreciation lunch at nearby Restaurant LuLu. We also met with BrightTALK, who hosted a customer appreciation happy hour at the swanky Novela Bar.
What I’d Like to See Next Year
What I’d like to see at Summit 2016 is traffic control between sessions, and predictability on the interest level for sessions, to be sure everyone gets a seat for their favorite topic.
FYI: Our Marketo Integration
Did you know? Evoq provides integration with Marketo. You can add the Marketo Munchkin code and deploy Marketo Forms 2.0 to your website in just a few keystrokes. You can find further details on our
Integrations page.
