I tweaked the News module successfully. I changed the RSS.aspx.vb and RSS91.xsl files.

I also created a new module called Projects. I installed it by changing the files in the NewsFeed sources archive. I successfully installed the adjusted DNN file. I added the new module to a page and selected a newsfeed successfully. But it seems that the code taken from the DotNetNuke.Modules.News is still using DesktopModules\News\RSS91.xsl instead of the DesktopModules\Projects\Projects.xsl.

I thought I could remain referring to DotNetNuke.Modules.News.dll as the logic itself remains the same.
- In my DesktopModules\Projects\DotNetNuke.News.vbproj I changed the RelPath to "Projects.xsl".
- In my DesktopModules\Projects\Projects.dnn.config I changed the line with RSS91.xsl to Projects.xsl
- In my DesktopModules\Projects\RssModule.ascx.vb line 130 I changed the xmlRSS.TransformSource to "~/DesktopModules/Projects/Projects/xsl".

Is there a way for me to create my own DotNetNuke.Modules.News and call it DotNetNuke.Modules.Projects?
The main question is: why is my old DesktopModules\News\RSS91.xsl leading for my new module, created as a copy of the news module.

I hope someone can help me.

For those who also wonder: I figured it already out myself. In fact it was quite simple as the NewsFeed developers have created the option to upload and select alternative style sheets (as in xls files). Therefore I can use one module and several xsl files, which are typically installed in \Portals\0\. So in fact I just should have looked better. Although I didn't expect this feature to be available under the Edit Newsfeed.
