I am requesting a feature enhancement for the feedback module.  I would like to be able to configure the module so that there is some prepended text to the subject the user specifies.

In fact, it would be even cooler if I could provide the format string.  I could configure it like:

"NetSplore.com Feedback:  {0}"

Then I would have good control.  Today, I nearly deleted a feedback email because I thought it was spam.  Users can be so horrible at providing a good subject.  I got am email from an unknown AOL account with the subject "visa card".  I almost deleted it.  But, I read it.  Then I still almost deleted it.  If it weren't for the fact that it mentioned someone by name at the organization the site is for...and of course, they misspelled their name.

In the latest version (4.4.1), there is the ability to select different subjects (similar to categories). One way of handling what you're trying to do would be to setup the subject field and then make it not visible by the user. This way, the emails sent to you will have whatever subject you've setup.

I am completely behind this request! What a great idea!

Your solution, smehrotra, is a valid workaround, however. The trouble is - in this case users will not be able to set any subject themselves, of course...

4.4.1 has not been released yet and I will see about adding this feature request with the release when it is made public.
