Hello,

I have a Master Calendar with 2 child calanders rolling up to it.  I need to show a list view of this conglomerate.  From what I can tell in past posts here, that currently doesn't work.  Is that true or is there a module update I don't know about?  If it is true, when do you suppose this functionality can be added?

Thanks,

Jeff

Hi Jeff.  Let me see...Do you mean you have this configuration?

               Main Calendar
                         |
                --------------
                |                    |
Sub Cal 1       Sub Cal 2

If so, this will be supported in the version I am working on....This version should be available and tested for DNN 3.7 and above by the End of Feb. 07 (I'm currenly almost complete w/coding)

I am eliminating the recursive rollup (see other postings).   But this will definitely be supported and 3 different views:  Month, Week, and List views.  Also, you will be able to set the default view to anyone of the three.

Thanks and stay tuned!

Thanks!  Yes, that is correct.  If I am in calendar mode, I see all the events from Sub Cal 1 & 2 on the Main Calendar.  The events from Sub Cal 1 & 2 will NOT show up in List mode, though.  Only events added directly (manually) to the Main Calendar show up in list mode.  Can't wait!

Jeff, this is fixed in the forthcomming release.  Expect to see it out next month!  thanks!

Thanks Alan!  One more thing on this:

In my case, I'd rather not see the "(Sub Cal 1)" appended to the Event name in either the Master Calander or Master List view.  I'm talking about the tag indicating which calander that event came from.

I suspect some people may want that to show, though, so maybe you could make that an option under settings?

Jeff
