DNN 3.1.1 - I have a portal with 16 roles and 2 repositories ( on different pages) I want 1 repository to allow for 4 roles with download permissions. When I select the roles and update the module, I find that other roles have been selected when I check the settings. If I delete all but the admin and save then the update does not add anything else as expected. I can add all the desired roles or just a few but extra roles keep showing up.

I can recreate this with one of my instances of the repository but not my second one. Is this the same case for you (only one instance is getting the wrong permissions). I'll try to hunt down why this is happening tonight.

I'm getting it in both repositories after checking. As a test I've been using different roles and saving the settings and it appears that no matter which roles are selected - when I hit 4, the problem starts. Not an absolute test but maybe something to look at.

Here's what I've found in my testing. The correct information is getting written to the database so the permissions are being set properly (ie: the groups you've selected are the only ones written to the db when you click update). What I haven't been able to figure out is why, when you go back into the settings, you're getting extra groups checked. I'll get with Steve to have a look at this if I can't find it myself.
