I installed the core DNN feedback module and it automatically installed a paged comment view something.
I didn't want this and I did not expect it, is there a way for me to prevent having this happen whenever new pages are created??
I also set up the module on the home page, to display at the top of the page in the left column pane as well.
When I create new pages, the feedback module displays at the bottom of the left column pane and I had to fix it for each page, why does this happen??
Thank you, Tom

Not sure why this is happening but here's some thoughts-
Could you maybe be adding the module to all pages of the site? In this case it will remember its position on the first page you added.
The comment view is the control used to view the feedback that have been submitted. You can either remove this from the page or put it in another pane. Sometimes, people use this as follows - drop the feedback control on a page and remove the comments piece. Then go to another page (maybe even secure page) and drop the same control but delete the feedback form and leave the comments piece. This way you can see the comments that have been submitted to the site.

I saw your posting on the DNN Feedback forum regarding adding a feedback module without comments.  Were you ever able to figure out how to do that?  I want page creators of a church website to be able to use the feedback module to get email messages from those browsing the site.  I don't want one user to be able to see the comments submitted site-wide.  There is a comments definition as part of the feedback module but I'm afraid to delete it for fear it might break the module.  Any suggestions that you might have discovered would be appreciated!

Thanks,
--Gary
