Hello!

I had a strange Problem wirh my DNN Installation. I installed the starter Kit for DNN 4.4 for VS 2005

Then I Create a new Web Project with the DotNetNuke Template.

I configured the SQLConnection and the Rights for the VirtualDirectory in IIS (Win XP SP2, IIS 5.1) for the ASPNET User.

But the Installation script doesn't work.

Hours later i found out, that i had the wrong ASPNET User. I dont know why, but i had (i seems so to me) 2 ASPNET Users. One (that was the only one which i found in the security tab (explorer)) runs at MBIT\ASPNET. But my computername is GUESTPC1 so the right name must be GUESTPC1\ASPNET.  I tried to give the MBIT\ASPNET the permissions for write and change, but it dosn't work. And first i wasn't able to ad the GUESTPC1\ASPNET User beacause i could not select this user when i tried to ad the ASPNET User with the Explorer i only get the MBIT\ASPNET.

So i tried to put in the username for the ASPNET user in the textbox with the full name (= GUESTPC1\ASPNET). Surprise it works.

But i don't understand, why i don't see this user in the explorer or why i get this user by default when i select it from the found Users over Explorer (Properties - TAB Security).

Does anybody know if this is a bug in WXP or a missconfiguration of my system?

Sorry for my english, i know isn't very well.
