I posted previusly in forum "Text/HTML (Lead: Mauricio Márquez)"  (http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/ForumsDotNetNuke/tabid/795/forumid/33/threadid/60571/scope/posts/Default.aspx) but no replyes from Mauricio so I try here.

When I try to validate a page of my xhtml portal I get this error: "document type does not allow element 'div' here".
I noticed that the Text/HTML module produces a "span" tag container that is not correct if in the content you insert some "divs".

1) Text/HTML module is going to be modifed in future versions to produce a "Div" tag container instead of "Span" ?

2) Anyone knows some how to convert the span tag in "div" tag?

3) With recent changes in staff and recent inclusion of the Text/HTML module in DNN core, Mauricio is still leading the Text/HTML module project ?

Thanks in advance

Luca

answer to question 2:

HTML:

<div>
<span id="myspan">sdfasfasfd</span>
</div>

CSS:
#myspan{
    display:block;
}

Will show the span as a block
