First of all great job, this gives a lot of companies that use DNN for internal purposes to have a seamless login process.  We have customized our own provider for this windows authentication but are still running into some problems.

My problems are the following:

1. We are changing from a ldap/windows authentication to a cleartrust authentication.  Therefore the servervariable is different. 
• Question: Is it possible for the Host Administrator to have the ability to choose the servervariable to use?
2. We actually don't use the information from the ldap or cleartrust servers, we have a user database to update the users information with.  We also update the user information every time they login (the user never changes their profile, it is done automatically behind the sceens). 
• Question: Is it at all possible to get a toggle in the windows authentication module to switch between the "portal/provider" authentication to just a "provider" authentication? 
• What we are looking for is a way never to touch the dnn code but use our own provider for windows/anytype authentication.  This gives us the flexibility to upgrade easily when a new version of dnn comes along.
• We would need the ability to go directly to the provider when the user is first recognized from the servervariable.  We would also need to call add and update user functions.
