I am currently hosting my DNN sites at dotnetpark.com and I am very unhappy with the support and hosting in general. My sites constantly go down for unexplained reasons and when I contact them they offer know reasons why.

If anyone has a host they really like and that offers great support please let me know. I really appreciate any guidance and advice offered.

Sincerely,

And Lynn

I too host with DotNetPark and have been receiving "Server Unavailable"  error messages.  After further research I've confirmed with DotNetPark that the error is caused by application pool recycling.  After searching for other hosting options I realized that many hosting companies offer DNN hosting in a dedicated application pool.  I contacted DotNetPark to ask them if my applications are assigned dedicated application pools and they said no but for 4 dollars more / month I could have a dedicated application pool.  I'm just curious if this would resolve my issue.  Any insight?

I personally use http://www.m6.net and for the most part they are great.  The uptime is very good, about 99.98% in the last 4-6 months.  Their support teams are very responsive and helpful.  However, the best part of all is there offerings.  For $10/month (Billed monthly, they provide discounts for 6/12/24 month prepayment) I get 170Gb of web storage, 1000Gb of bandwidth, along with 2 SQL Server databases, and a large number of MySQL databases.

Disclaimer: I am not affiliated with M6.NET I am simply explaining my experience with them!

I sent a scathing email to Dotnetpark about performance issues including the "Server Unavailable” error, which I get on a regular basis as well, and they said that they "have assigned separate Application Memory Pool for your website." and they said the "Application Pool is recycled periodically" this was on Mon. 1/29 and I received the service unavailable error this morning. So I don’t know that it will solve your problem to pay the extra money and honestly should you really have to pay more when your site is not working correctly in the first place?
