I am a new user of DNN.

I installed a version provided by my hosting company into a directory named dotnetnuke. It was an old version & I want to install the 4.1.1 version.

I used the uninstall function which executed without errors. The dotnetnuke directory is still in the site root directory. The dotnetnuke directory contains the App_Code, Config, Install, etc... directories. There are no databases listed for the site.

Can I just delete the dotnetnuke directory & all it's sub directories & contents that was created by the install & start over?

If so do I download the complete source download for 4.1.1 & upload it to the root directory for the site? Or do I just upload certain parts of it?

Thanks in advance for your help,
Yaani-Mai

I have downloaded the 4.1.1 Source file.

Do I delete the dotnetnuke directory that the previous version was installed in?

Do I upload the entire contents of the 4.1.1 Source file or just the Website directory?

Thanks,
Yaani-Mai
