I'm using the UrlControl from DotNetNuke.UI.UserControls but for the life of me I cannot get it to show what i had selected if I want to go back and edit a url.  I have tried setting the "urlControl.Url = someItem.Url" as well as "urlControl.UrlType = someItem.UrlType" (where urltype might be M, U, F, T).

It doesn't want to show it though.  I know you can go back and edit links because the core Links module has this functionality.  Looking at his code, all he does is:

this.ctlURL.Url = info1.Url;
this.ctlURL.ShowDatabase = true;
this.ctlURL.ShowSecure = true;

and it magically works.  I have no idea why mine is broken.

Just realized something... his only loads from a request, not from postback.  Mine is operating in a context where I actually am doing postbacks... This control probably doesn't work with postbacks correctly. :(
