I have modified the module to make the user select a category and also changed from "Noner selected" to "Choose an Appropriate Category before sending feedback. The problem I have is it is working fine on my test environment. When moved to production I am not seeing the category and when I select "Can select Category" check box still not able to see the category. When receiving email I get the "Choose an Appropriate Category in the body of the email. Restarted the IIS. Don't seem to know what the problem is Can anybody help on this matter.

Thanks

Did you check to see if the feedback_categories list has been created on your production site?

Yes,  I have created the Feedback_categories list using my host account.

I copied the DotNetNuke.Modules.Feedback.dll and FeedBack.ascx.resx since I have added the error message if they don't select a category to the appropriate folders.

Let me k now.

So, let me understand this correctly - same site using same database works on your local machine but not in production? I would verify that the settings are indeed getting saved in the ModuleSettings table. Can you run a query to see what values are being saved to the ModuleSettings table for that particular feedback module?

My local machine and test environment are pointing to the same database . Production is pointing to  different database server.

When running the query against Module settings table for that feedback module I see the Category Select as False

Why didn't it update the table when I updated the settings for that Fdeedback Module?
