My organization is currently running dotnetnuke 4.0.2 and we are looking to upgrade to the current version.  Our hosting company told us that we would need to upgrade from asp 1.0 to asp 2.0 before we could do this and that we might loose our data.

Has anyone had any experience going from asp 1.0 to asp 2.0?  Is data loss a common occurance here?  Are there any other side effects we should be worried about by doing this upgrade?

Thanks

Hrdware

DNN 4.02 already runs only on ASP.NET 2.0.. (and will not run on ASP.NET 1.1).. so either you or your hosting provider is wrong ;)
