The place I work @ is considering doing a DNN deployment as our CMS system.  I'd like to hear some feedback on your experiences overall with this platform and if possible, can you compare it to websphere or sharepoint server or any other CMS-ish system out there?  Also, any plans to intergrate in WF, WCF or WPF/E and other things of that nature (out of the box that is, I could add it, but ya know, for the higher ups)

Also, I'm looking at getting involved with dnn if I could (working on coding that is) -- I'm somewhat new to coding (2-3 years) but I'm not all bad .  Whats the course for that?

Anyway, any insight on either subject would be fantastic -- fire away!

I have been using DNN for a bit over a year on a personal and professonal level.  For my personal site it is a bit overkill due to the low activity.  However, from a work perspective DNN appears to be VERY capable and in my opinion much more easily changed than Sharepoint.  This is at least what I can say based on the comments I have heard from Sharepoint developers that try to make design accomodations.

Overall I feel that DNN is at a good place as of now and continues to make great improvements.  It is handling a fairly large implementation at my place of work and is becoming my desired development platform for corporate websites.

I too am looking to actually get involved and help with DNN, but I am not aware of the process as of yet.
