I set up a new DNN 4.0 site and tried to copy the aspnet*, Roles* and users* tables over but the site still uses the original admin and host logins only. The user manager shows only the admin user but when I login as host and do a select * from users (under Host>SQL) I see all the users I wanted to import.

My machine and decrypt keys are the same in the 3.3 and 4.4 we.configs

Can somebody help me get the user from a 3.3 install moved to a 4.4 install please??

They need to be added to the UserPortals table. Also, you’ll need the data from the UserProfile table and assign them to roles. The aspnet_Profile table and aspnet_Roles tables are ignored by DNN 3.3/4.3 and higher. I’m not sure if that’s everything but it should get you closer.
