I realize to some this answer is not acceptable.  All I can say is if you have the time to research the inconsistencies of any document, it would sure help the community to provide any corrections to the core team and eventually they will make their way into the official documents.

Jon, I tryed to !

So you have had this information since november 2006.

Im happy to at last get this confirmation from you!

Jon,

Thanks for your informative reply. This issue should be escalated since everyone is being encouraged to do away with solpart and start using  DNNMenuNavigationProvider.

I understand the tremendous efforts involved in evolutionizing such a great CMS platform and I am really happy as a new user.
Up to date documentation would be great but as with all non-paying jobs, like you said, it's usually left for last and many a time not done at all. That's one downfall of the Open Source world in general.

With that said, are there any facilities in place to escalate issues like this that allow end user voting so that issues can be dealt with in a sequence of priority?

Jan,

The method in which you are trying to provide this information is much too cumbersome for me to keep up.  What I propose, is for you or anyone else to grab the document.  Copy it into word (or any word processor), update it however you see fit (preferably in a manner in which it is easy to find), and email it to one of us.  The previous ways we have been communicating is not working, for I have already invested many hours trying to understand you with little to show.

I have no idea what this means "Im happy to at last get this confirmation from you!" in light of all our previous conversations.

Jon, if you read this post  from beginning once again you maybee understand.

And I am sure you understand what I tryed to say.

If you had taken your time and answered the question I rased instead of trying to make me a fool so could we have had a document in place today.

Jan,

If you take all the posts that you made during that time, and added the amount of time I spent on them, apparently never resolving anything for you, you would undertand my frustration.  Updating these documents is not a top priority for me at this time.  Adding functionality that will affect what is placed in those documents is.

Like I mentioned earlier, if you provide me a modified version of the document that is simple to understand, we will see what we can do.
