Hi,

I was trying to install Announcements_03.04.00_Install.zip onto 3.3.7 and after all upgrade processing I get this error.....

Anyone have any ideas?

I also got the same error for documents....so it seems like it occurs for at least 2 updates....

I have managed to upgrade from 3.1 to 3.3.7...and thought I might as well get all the lastest modules as well...all assistance most welcome!

Thanks

Peter

Peter,

This seems like a file permissions problem to me. Can you check whether the asp.net worker process identity has modify rights to the full dnn folder, including all sub folders?

Hi Erik,

seems you are exactly correct....I used a new folder in inetpub and it did not have the correct worker process authorisations....the strange thing is....I check another test portal that seems to upgrade ok...and could not find the same authorisations there....??..hmmm....but I set it up over ages ago at 3.1 level so I cannot remember what exactly happened on that one!!

Thanks very much for your help...it is much appreciated.
