Just got my monthly DNN email from Shawn. In it was an email survey that had radio buttons and a text-area. What tool is being used to collect that data or did it just sent and email to a fixed location and people power is going to hand collect the data?  The reason that I ask is that I have a need to collect some user data and would really like to find an easy way to gather it.

If you are a programmer, have a look at http://www.brainjar.com/asp/formmail/

The sender is added as a trusted sender in my outlook 2007, but the surveys never work for me. They're always just static text.

The only failsafe method (people also use plain text emails) is to build an online survey and just link to it. With sufficiently attractive communications, you can get most people to click through.

There are a few survey modules around for DNN or you can use one of the forms modules such as H2O or Xmod.
