unauthenticated users see the preferred language as define in their browser, if it is available in the portal, unless you uncheck "" in Admin > Languages

I have 4.3.7 and I don't have that option in Admin\Languages. And Host\Languages looks exactly the same as the Languages page under Host.

My admin pages isn't in the default languages (Swedish) but once I'm logged in they are. My own browser had Swedish as the default language, so it's not that. I added the blog module and that is all in English.

I've translated the strings in the language editor so that shouldn't be a problem.

Help!

Ok, I still don't have that option, but when I checked the default language for the SuperUser is (naturally) English. I changed that and the language appeared as it should in the rest of the site. My bad.

But what happened to the 'ignore browser language' thing? Did someone think it was a bad idea and removed it in the later versions?

"ignore browser language" option was introduced in DNN 4.4.0 or 4.4.1, please check the change log on support.dotnetnuke.com for details.
