At work, we are currently looking at a package called SmarterStats (http://www.smartertools.com) to process our web stats, however, we want it to run stats off of DNN portals (of which we have many!). Now our MD believes that he has seen it working with DNN, however, I am under the impression that there is 1 set of logfiles per virtual directory created in IIS.

The only way I could think about making this work would be to have a virtual directory in IIS per portal, would this work?

Smarter starts allows for import filters, which you can set to host header for instance. So if all your portals have different host header names (ie. all parent portals), you can set up different statistics for each portal. Thats a very nice feature of SmarterStats.. so far we are using it to our great pleasure
