I was making some changes to one of my portals and got an Out Of Memory exception.  And now I can't access either one of my portals.  Does anyone know how to get them backup.  I am with godaddy, so I have know control over the server.  I sent them an email asking them to restart my site (if possible).

I'm in the same boat as you (also with Godaddy.com).  It was after a change, so I'm unsure if that was it.  Take a look at my post to see if you see anything familiar.  Certainly let me know if you figure it out.

Cheers,

A restart of the app pool should (temporarily) solve your problem, but you should check

  • are there modules to remove?
  • can you increase available memory?

Unfortunately it's in a shared hosting environment... so its unclear if I can get that done.

Since I was working on the site I assumed it was something that I did... but is this something that is only fixed on the server side?

I have another post with some additional information that I recently posted here.  thanks in advance for any help.
