Hello,
Is anybody know if I can use DataSet as my DAL and specify TableAdapters inside my code behind files when developing dnn modules?
If so, do you know any examples available on the internet? Please post links here.
Thank you,
balda

You are note forced to use the DAL or DAL+. You can of course develop your modules however you like. Using DataSets and DataAdapters is possible. Even no layers are needed. You can take any example for an ASP.NET page.

I really apressiate possibilities of DAL+. But while using DAL I include also methods that return datasets for my web service. How can I do the same in DAL+ ?

So, I need something like DotNetNuke.Data.DataProvider.Instance().ExecuteDataset("procedure", paremeter)

Thanks.
