I would like to fix a minor problem in the gallery module 3.0.12. Normally I don't touch the project modules but the gallery module has a slight problem when you have an non-english dnn solution (for me it's german de-DE and de-AT). I downloaded the source, traced through the code and found the places i've to fix but now i've a problem how to complile and deploy the patched module. Since I developed DNN modules I'm using VS2005 and i've no idea how can i fixes the references in the project files (sources code is a VS2003 project).
Please can someone help me with my problems.

see this post. It references the Repository module, but the steps are the same for setting up any module with VS 2005

Thank you for your assistance but I've still some problems. I downloaded the repository module and tried to convert the module and had the same errors for the first build. From your recipe the points a - d  are very clear. The real problem is the point e.  For example the file DotNetNuke.SubProject.build and the lines:
...
<property name="nant.settings.currentframework" value="net-1.1" />   < changed to 2.0
...
<property name="vault.executable" value="c:\program files\sourcegear\vault client\vault.exe"/> < i dont' have vault.exe - is it necessary ???
...
 <target name="build">
         <solution solutionfile="..\..\Solutions\DotNetNuke.All\DotNetNuke.All.sln" configuration="${project.configuration}">
    <webmap>
     <map url="http://localhost/DotNetNuke/DotNetNuke.vbproj" path="..\..\DotNetNuke.vbproj" />   < maybe DotNetNuke.Library.vbproj ???
    </webmap>
   </solution>
...
The the missing references i've fixed but i've still errors for a complete build and a much longer way to deploy the module?
Please can you send me a correct set of configuration files? I think the files for the repository module to adapt are "DotNetNuke.Modules.Repository.vbproj, DotNetNuke.Repository.sln, DotNetNuke.Repository.build and DotNetNuke.SubProject.build" i must oversaw something.

best wishes

After a very busy weekend i've solved all problems. I've changed the few lines and complied the gallery module and copied the DLLs to the production server and it did work.
To get more involved with project modules i've a last problem - in the 'project explorer' the *.ascx.vb, *.aspx.vb and resource files don't appear in the project - tree. Please can you explain how to set the project settings?

best wishes
guy
