Hi,

This a perfect view.
I do not know how to do this.
How can I change the template??

With regards, Ton Hermes

BTW, as a temporary "workaround" you can change the template to be like this:

Exposition
(newsdate: february 02, 2007)
From February 14, 2007 etc, etc, etc
the whole story etc, etc, etc.

Did you download the latest version already?

Have a look at the modules module setting ;) Check out this blog for a quick overview of all features: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/BlogsDotNetNuke/tabid/825/EntryID/1280/Default.aspx

Again, i am not seeing a use case for having a per-item setting for the publish date. If you want something like that, you'd more likely want to use UDT (which can you cam make do that)

Hi,

I removed the [PUBLISHDATE] tag from the table in the module setting.
That was all I needed to do !!!
Thanks for all the answers.
And as I wrote before.
It is a great module.

With regards, Ton Hermes

I know exactly the problem you were having, glad you figured it out.  I spent about five minutes on the phone the other day trying to explain to someone that the date shown was the date they "created" the announcement, not the date of the actual event.  She kept telling me that the event wasn't that day, and that is not the day she entered, and I'd tell her that was the date she created the announcement for the event, not the date of the event itself, etc...  Then the conversation would repeat itself over and over.  No matter what I said she could not differentiate between the two...

Finally, I just said "I'll fix it", hung up and removed the published date from the template...  How frustrating!

I know !!!!!
Its all about the view of something, in this case there a two:
- the view of a developer
- the view of a user
In this case the user sees something different as the developer does.
He or she only read the fist date and if this date is paste for a certain occasion then he or she stops reading.
It is frustrating but is the practice
