HI all !

I'm a newbie and i'm very familiar with DNN 3x that we can develop our project as distinct project to the DotNetNuke project. However in DNN4x, the APP_code is located in different place to its project. The problem here is how to create our projects and distribute to our developers, each one has only know about his work after that, merege them into root/bin.
Some one answer this question for me please !\\
Another question , I'm familiar with C# but of course we can not develop module written in C# on DotNetNuke project an build it, how to do that? Tell me  , please !!

Hi,

Did you checkout my development approach? It solves some of the issues that the current dynamic compilation model has, and is designed specially for work with development teams and larger projects.

You can find the link in my sig.

Have a look at this template that was posted by someone else here on DNN.  This should help!

I've gone thru your tutorials, plus the DNN module developer's guide, but I've still got a problem.

I'm sure that there's a trick to this that I don't know...

Each Module Definition gets compiled into its own DLL.  That's cool.  The only way I know how to do that is to create a project for each Module Definition.

So, I want to compile the module and want to debug it during testing.

I change the code in my module project and build it.

I have another copy of Visual Studio open with the full DNN instance loaded and start it up in debug mode.

(This sucks up extra RAM I would rather use for other purposes!)

This seems very awkward, to say the least.

Please tell me a better way!  How can I use the debugger in a more useful manner?

Thanks!
