I already create a simple Skin (only html, css and images, without xml or aspx and no use of  TOKENS, an with 4 panes, (contentpane included)), and I manage to upload without any faillure.

I can see de thumnails of may skin but if i try to prewiev the navigator give me this error mesaje.

"Server Error in /DotNetNuke aplication"

Where I Fail?
Must I create a Xml?
Is needed to touch the DB?

Thanks for Your atention, and sorry about my bad English, but I am Spanish.

did you upload with Skin uploader, that compiles your .html into an .ascx files?

Do you get an entry in the event log with further details on the issue?

Just as a side note, I believe that including NO tokens can render your site useless.....as you will not have any navigation etc.

I just went through all of this and it is all related to the initial installation of 4.4.1 not including some key assemblies in the bin folder. One such assembly relates to the treeview control. I fixed my installation by downloading the 4.3.7 & 4.4.1 source versions and replacing the missing dlls in the bin folder. Don't forget to redo the permissions on the new files or else it will give you even more assembly errors. It took me hours of searching to figure all of this out, so I hope it helps you out too!
