Dont wait peacfully - for a new site there are other things you can do.
Try to get your site into the Open Directory Project. http://www.dmoz.com/ This is a primary feed for google.
Its a directory so they decide if your site merits inclusion but if you can get in its well worth it.
Be aware that google places as much value on keywords in page titles as it does in metadata.
See this site for a breakdown of who gets what and from whom.
http://www.search-this.com/search-engine-decoder/  This is also a good introduction site to the wacky world of search engines.

I experienced the same thing with a previously static site that was migrated to DotNetNuke, but kept the same domain. Even though I had submitted multiple site maps to Google, it took several months for Google to index any of the sub pages on the site and it kept the old static links in its results, even though they no longer existed.  Like the previous poster, I found that Yahoo and MSN indexed everything fairly quickly in a couple of weeks.

I also have migrated to dotnetnuke 4.0.2. I have an old domain name.
Google don't index all my page (only the home page and others) but it kept the old link in results.
I sent sitemap sucesfully to Google, but not great result.
And if I search in Yahoo or Msn, MSN is indexing my all my website, but not Yahoo...

Hope I'll find something soon!

Since there was recent activity on this thread I thought I would provide an update that it now appears that most of my site is indexed correctly. I did add in the site map module by bitethebullet that is linked in another thread out here.

This module works well...
But it doesn't seems to take in consideration the localisation.
So I don't know if I'm wrong, for each page I get in my website, I need to duplicate the <url> of the site map like this...

http://www.mont-sainte-anne.com/MontSainteAnneAccueil/tabid/53/language/fr-CA/Default.aspx
http://www.mont-sainte-anne.com/MontSainteAnneAccueil/tabid/53/language/en-US/Default.aspx
Just to be sure Google index both language...
Am I wrong?
