Yeah... like I said, I have no problem with giving somebody the code and letting them put that stuff back in.  I just have a tight deadline for migrating our company intranet and that includes writing another 8 or 9 custom modules to handle very specialized internal operations type stuff.  Otherwise, I'd spend a little more time and get that stuff in there. :)

I agree with you though; somebody should take all those user controls and convert them to useable web server controls and then see if we could get them implemented in the core product.

  Ok,I have the same problem. It annoy me for a long time for I  must write more code to handle urlcontrol postback. But instead rewrite this control, I use another way to solve this question.
   1 :Open controls\urlcontrol.vb
   2:Change this line (in Public Property Url() As String)
       Set(ByVal Value As String)
                _Url = Value
            End Set

      as
          Set(ByVal Value As String)
                _Url = Value
               ShowControls()
            End Set
     3:Rebuild DotNetNuke, And copy new dll into website.

      It's ok now. I wish the core member can fix this little bug next release.
     By the way ,How can I  add bug report under http://support.dotnetnuke.com?   I have registed ,but cann't find anyway to post a bug report.

As a registered user you will have permission to create issues in the public dnn project. Someone will review your issue and if it is valid will move it to the apropriate forum.
