Have any of you had experience of transfering DNN to a different server?

what I did was I transfer the DB, along with the login information (found in MSDN tutorial: how to transfer logins and poassword between server instance), then I zip the whole folder.

After the db is done, folder is extracted, I went in and set the proper permission for the folder, to be able to display under IIS properly. I also change the PortalAlias table from the old IP to the new IP. Change the site from .net 1.1 to 2.0.

Then I tried browsing the site under IIS, and it just hang there for a long time, never displayed... Anyone could shade some light for me? thanks!
