Hi Mitchell,

   Yep, I did specify the SQL in both the settings, but still no good. The url for the site is http://202.4.48.33 (Should work after your previous instructions). The site might be a bit slow as I am in Samoa and our internet speeds arent the flashest at the best of times......

Cheers

When I log in to the admin side, the module has this in it -

DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Value cannot be null. Parameter name: connectionString ---> System.ArgumentNullException: Value cannot be null. Parameter name: connectionString at Microsoft.ApplicationBlocks.Data.SqlHelper.ExecuteReader(String connectionString, String spName, Object[] parameterValues) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Html.SqlDataProvider.GetHtmlText(Int32 moduleId) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Html.HtmlTextController.GetHtmlText(Int32 moduleId) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Html.HtmlModule.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

Make any sense?
Cheers

Did you setup both connection strings in the web.config file?

Sorry, I missed the original posts. Still though, double check the web.config files, I'm pretty sure that the problem you're getting are related to the web.config file not working properly.

Yep, did the two settings for the SQL connection.

<connectionStrings>
    <!-- Connection String for SQL Server 2005 Express -->
    <!-- Connection String for SQL Server 2000/2005 -->
    <add name="SiteSqlServer" connectionString="Server=(local);Database=DNN;uid=xxxx;pwd=xxxx;" providerName="System.Data.SqlClient" />
  </connectionStrings>
  <appSettings>
    <!-- Connection String for SQL Server 2005 Express - kept for backwards compatability - legacy modules   -->
    <!-- Connection String for SQL Server 2000/2005 - kept for backwards compatability - legacy modules
    <add key="SiteSqlServer" value="Server=(local);Database=DNN;uid=xxxx;pwd=xxxx;"/>

Still shows up the errors. I have uploaded another module and it has jacked up the whole site. I cant log in to the site or any child sites. Am going to reinstall and see it the errors comes up anymore and if so, I will be back. I will also let you know if I have resolved the problem.

Cheers
