Ok I got my first site up and running (thanks to all who helped me with my web.config file) and watched the 3 part video intro tutorial from dnncreative. However before I start populating I have a few questions:

From how I understand the videos every page/section I want to have (a forum, wiki and gallery for example) I have to create a page for such, add the blocks/modules to it then link them back to the main page? Am I understanding the process correctly?

Is there a module to allow registered users to submit for approval web links, announcements/news and articles/documents. From the module descriptions and watching the video it does not seem as several of the modules allow registered users (non-admin type access) to submit content. Am I missing something?
